1. Information We Collect

When you use Parker, we collect:

  • Account information: Your email address and name from your Google account
  • Calendar data: Free/busy information from your Google Calendar to find available meeting times
  • Email content: The content of emails where Parker is included as a recipient or CC'd. Parker does not have access to your Gmail account or inbox—we only see emails that are sent directly to us, just like any other participant in a conversation.
  • OAuth tokens: Encrypted authentication tokens to access your Google Calendar on your behalf

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the scheduling service:

  • Reading your calendar availability to suggest meeting times
  • Creating calendar events and sending calendar invites when meetings are confirmed
  • Processing email conversations to understand scheduling requests
  • Responding to emails to coordinate meetings (Parker sends emails as itself, not on your behalf)

3. Third-Party Services

Parker integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality:

  • Calendar providers (e.g., Google Calendar): To read your availability and create events
  • AI processing services: To understand natural language in emails. Email content is sent to our AI provider for analysis.
  • Email delivery services: To send and receive emails

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of data. We select providers with strong privacy practices and data protection commitments.

4. Data Storage and Security

We take security seriously:

  • OAuth tokens are encrypted before being stored in our database
  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes

5. AI and Your Data

Parker does not use your data to train AI models. Your emails, calendar data, and scheduling information are used solely to provide the scheduling service.

Our AI provider processes your email content to understand scheduling requests. We select AI providers whose commercial API terms prohibit using customer inputs and outputs to train their models.

6. Human Review

In limited circumstances, our team may review your data:

  • When you contact support and we need to diagnose an issue
  • To investigate suspected abuse or violations of our terms
  • When required by law

We do not routinely review your emails or calendar data. Any human review is logged and limited to what is necessary.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you use Parker. This includes your account information, OAuth tokens, and conversation history needed to provide the service. To request deletion of your data, email help@m.useparker.co.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Revoke access: Disconnect Parker from your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings
  • Request deletion: Contact us to request deletion of your data
  • Access your data: Contact us to request a copy of your data

9. Email Access

Parker only sees emails where it is explicitly included as a recipient or CC'd. Parker does not have access to your email inbox or any emails where it is not directly addressed.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
